The Institution

Fatima Industrial Training Center at Fatimanagar, Warangal is one of the many establishments managed by the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel, Province of Pune. Fatima I.T.I at Fatimanagar, Warangal is in existence since from nearly four decades. The Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel had started Fatima Industrial Training Center in the year 1969 with the noble vision of providing quality vocational and technical education to the youth of Telangana. The institute was founded with the mission of preparing young men and women for industrial employment, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance.

We do not have many Vocational Training and self employment schemes promoted by the Government in our areas to cater the needs of the unemployed youth and unskilled youth especially for the poor and low caste sections of the society. So keeping in mind the local need in the field of education and Vocational Training for the youth the diocese has requested the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel to start Fatima Industrial Training Center in the year 1969. The Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel is running an educational institution and industrial training centers along with hostel facilities to the poor students of the area at Fatimanagar, Warangal. It is located 5 kms away from Warangal town on the state High way connected to Warangal to Hyderabad High way road. It is about 140 kms away from Hyderabad, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh and from the Fatima Industrial Training Center, Fatimanagar.

The formal trades promoted in Fatima I.T.I are Fitter, Mechanist for the students coming from socially and backward communities from the rural areas. Most of the students in this center are from two districts namely Warangal and Karimnagar District of Warangal diocese. In these 38 years nearly 1500 students were trained in different skills and 350 students have absorbed into jobs in different Industrial projects. Most of the students studying in Fatima I.T.I. are the orphans, poor, school dropouts and socially and economically backward caste sections of the society.

Actively aligned with Skill India and Make in India initiatives, training students with relevant skills for today’s workforce.

Thousands of students have graduated, securing employment in railways, defense, PSUs, manufacturing industries, private companies, and as successful entrepreneurs.
